The ClimateCampus 2025 will take place on July 2 and 3, 2025.
All schools in Bielefeld can join.
Children and young people will learn how to make the future good and environmentally friendly.
The ClimateCampus is organized by:
City Office of Education, Bielefeld
City Environmental Office, Bielefeld
City Property Services, Bielefeld
Stadtwerke Bielefeld
Andreas Mohn Foundation
Children and young people will learn about:
Protecting the climate and nature
Saving water, electricity, and materials
Living well with the environment
They can also show their ideas and say what they want to do for the environment.
Day 1 takes place at the Wissenswerkstadt.
There are eight group workshops in two blocks.
Children and young people will learn about:
Climate change
Protecting nature
Sustainable living
They can talk to each other, collect ideas, and show their own projects.
Projects from schools that already did something for climate and environment will also be shown.
There will also be three prizes for the best projects.
Day 2 takes place at different places in Bielefeld.
There are 19 group workshops about topics like:
Climate change
Protecting nature
Sustainable living
Reusing things
Protecting animals
Forests
Making old things new
Participating in small science projects
Children and young people learn by doing.
They see how they can help.
All schools in Bielefeld are invited to take part in ClimateCampus 2025.
